ABOUT FIRST

Dean Kamen, founder of FIRST FIRST was founded in 1989 Dean Kamen to get young people involved in science and technology. FIRST is not-for-profit organization which is based on public charity. Two of FIRST's most important targets is to motivate young people to combine education and career in science, technology, engineering, and math, and to help them to build knowledge, and life skills.

Dean Kamen is an inventor, entrepreneur, and an big fan of science and technology. His passion to help young people discover the joy and rewards of science and technology are the main ideas of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology).
