OUTREACH
One of FIRST's goals is to help the surrounding community.

We at HaMosad #1657 believe that this is the most important thing in FIRST, and therefore we dedicate our time to help others, especially in technological ways.

Some of our activities are:

  • Every week we are going to an organization called "Lev Ham"- an organization that supplies food for needy persons. We are helping them to package the food and to deliver it to the people who need it.

  • At 21/10/09 we organized a blood donation in our school. every studet who is above 17 years old can donate blood, and save life. In the end of the day we had 81 donators which is our school record.

  • One of our Outreach activities is been conducted at "Neve Etgar" - A special education school. During our visits at Neve Etgar the children get a chance to control the robots all by themselves and taking part in special activities.

  • Between the 25 and the 31 of October we helped organizing a "week against violence" in our school.
