• Clothing- it is very important to always wear closed shoes, long sleeved shirts and long pants and if you have long hair- tie it up. • Have a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher at your workshop - this is a basic and very imprtant necessity, in case of a fire or an accident it can help and prevent damage to people and equipment. • Glasses and Gloves- Always wear protective glasses and gloves while working with power tools. • Distance- Stand at least 5 feet away from everyone who is working. Robotics workshop can be a dangerous site, especially while you are using power tools. You might get distracted and accidentally harm one of your friends. • Partner- always have a partner near you. in case you get hurt, it's always good to have someone at shouting distance that can come to help you. |
